Rino Cerrone continues a superb run of form that has made 2011 one of the veteran producers vintage years in terms of production output.

'Solution'/'Decreasing Day' on the Italian producer's Unrilis imprint is a typically no-nonsense slice of contemporary techno with a focus on unrelenting groove and dancefloor impact.

Lead track 'Solution' pairs pulsing bottom end with delayed flourishes and uncompromising percussion to create a powerful yet subtle effect. Arrangement, as always with Cerrone, is key makes much of the tracks minimal elements.

'Decreasing Day' is a more detailed and darker affair. Heavily textured, it's dense palette of sinister, bubbling sounds makes for an almost industrial referencing cut that takes no prisoners whatsoever with ever increasing builds and drops.
